I have used online notary for several different reasons and they are universally accepted now.
You do a Skype or FaceTime call to verify identity. You scan and email docs and they do the same in reverse with the stamp and letter of certification. Really easy.

I was told directly from an agent when we were entering America that she must return every 364 days or get a re-entry permit.
I did the maximum. I can’t remember exactly the amount but it was 3-4 transfers to get to the million baht to buy a truck. I think in the $10,000 range. It took a couple of days.
I did my first marriage extension in Ubon. My second in BKK. They acted like it was a big deal but in the end it was granted with no issues. The third was a transition to retirement (tired of the marriage extension drama) in Jomtien and again, no issues.
