These are the qualifications. There is no scenario where having $400,000 makes you eligible. So whatever group was saying that is uninformed.

I know several people are saying the money must be transferred from overseas to fund the 800K but that was not my experience. I never had to show anyone anything and it most definitely was not transferred from outside of Thailand.

I’m not saying to do this because everyone’s situation is different but that’s what happened with me.

I was told most get about 4,000. Doing it yourself is 1,900.

If you get a multiple entry permit from immigration it’s unlimited. 3900 baht.

may I ask what they are looking for on the tax returns? I ask because if a pension just went over $80K or some is non taxable income is that an issue?

Mine was not and no one ever asked.

Depends on where you are going. In Pattaya Bangkok Hospital is a direct billing FMP provider.

I haven’t done it yet but was told by those who have once you have signed up through the international insurance section when you get seen for a service connected condition you just sign your name and go on your way.

Also, as stated already if you get a Non O visa no insurance is required.
