@Gra***
because I want to and it’s my money that I can spend in any manner of my choosing. Also because no one is going to deny me if I move. I’ve done extensions in Ubon, Bangkok and Jomtien and never had an issue.

How about you worry about you and I’ll worry about me?

They are wrong. I have the 800k, I’m 100% legal I just hate going to immigration. So I pay an agent to do my extension. I have been in and out of the country with my re-entry stamps obtained at the same time as my extension and have had zero issues.

If they are a true, legitimate agency you will be fine.

Easiest way is as stated already.

All you need to do is show up with your items. They will box it up, seal the box, address the box and ship it out.

Can’t get much easier than that.

When I do it I preprint that address labels at home. But it’s not necessary.

Her interview will be at the embassy in Thailand to get the visa.

I did this (quite a while back, 2015) and in BKK to get the visa was a breeze. She was offered to answer questions in Thai but she chose English to show she understood.

However, once in Hawaii and we were converting her K1 to her green card (after marriage) that was strictly English and not too friendly.

I would also say for citizenship it should hr better than basic. They asked her quite a few questions on several topics including my work, family, kids, and previous career. It also includes a written and oral test. When we were there I was in the waiting room during her interview and I saw two people that were rejected because their English wasn’t good enough.

As long as it’s a separate account it doesn’t matter. Your visa account must be your name only.

You can open a new joint account without any consult from immigration. They’d never know the difference.

I have walked through customs countless times over 26 years. Maybe 3-4 times they ran my bags through the scanner. No one has ever talked to me.

Most times they are playing with their phones and looking the other way.

I was in Ubon. They came and we were not even home. They FaceTime’d us and we had a small chat.

When we were done they spoke briefly to my mother in law. Asked simple things like where we married and when.

Asked a few neighbors if they have seen me there. Do I stay there often.

Very simple basic things. They didn’t even go in the house I built behind the mother in laws house.

@John *******
wrong:

What is the Thailand visa waiver 2023?

The Thailand visa waiver is the Thailand visa exemption scheme that allows ordinary passport holders of certain countries, including the UK, the UAE, the USA and more to enter Thailand, visa-free, for no more than a period of 45 days.

because in many cases the rules are very different depending on the passport you hold. It absolutely matters where you come from when Thai immigration is concerned.

I have a fixed account and have for 4 years. There is no issue at all.

In reference to your question I would do this: wait until you do your extension. Do your 90 day and show funds. Once that is done change accounts. I was contemplating doing a similar thing and that was the advice from Jomtien immigration.

You never know what representative you get the day you do your extension and how they treat you. Might have had a bad night and now you’re screwed because it’s not the full time in one set account.
