@Berto *****
because getting caught and leave on your own are not the same thing, and don't have the same penalties. No reason to be rude cause you don't really know the overstay rules.

the chances of getting caught on a 1 day overstay are almost non existing. But if you are caught you will get banned for 5 years..

Also it can cause you problems down the road. For example 2 X 1 day overstay within 3 years, and you can not apply for the elite visa.

I agree that in most cases 1 day overstay is not a big deal, but I see no reason to challenge faith, when it can be avoided.

Not possible for foreigners. Air guns are concidered firearms, and foreigners are not allowed to get a gun permit.

Any bus out of the country will do.

It could be Nong Khai - Vientianne. 30 tbh fare or something like that.

All land borders are closed though, so currently not an option for you.

Unless extended, the covid extension will be a thing of the past when your 30 days are up.

@Mi**
from 7th of December 20 until September 30 - 21, the visa exemption is 45 days instead of the regular 30.

You can only extend 1 time for 30 days. It has always been like that, and haven't changed during covid.

I am not sure if BKK immigration (Chaeng Wattana) requires you to extend with 30 days first before you can change to the Covid extension.

So far the Covid extension scheme will end 29th of May. so if they want you to do the 30 days first, you will not be able to go on the Covid extension after.

@Bobby *******
Every time you enter thailand you get 1 year. If you don't leave Thailand during that year, the visa has to be extended.

Then I am afraid you need someone smarter than me to help you out.

Try the group "thai visa advice" they will be able to give you a 100% correct answer regarding what to do, and how to do it.

Good luck.
