As advised here, I went to Ban Phu Nam Ron border today, hoping to extend my stay with another 30 days.

When I arrived at the border, a guy asked me what my purpose was, and I told him that I just needed a quick bounce across the border for another 30 days. He then took me to a small shop where i paid 960 baht for van service, and filled out my my address and phone number on a new arrival card.

He then followed me to the exit booth, and as there was no one in line, I went up and presented my passport to the immigration officer. He took a look at my stamps, told me to put my right hand on the scanner, and less than a minute later, i was stamped out of Thailand. Nothing said, no questions asked. I went to the van that was waiting for me, and after a quick drive, I handed my passport to the van driver, that then went to get the in / out stamp on the Myanmar side. Drove back again, and on the Thai side I presented my passport to the immigration officer, put my right hand on the scanner, and got stamped in. Again, nothing said and no questions asked.

Thank you all for the advises that i got in here, it went more smooth than I had ever hoped for.

I am Danish.

After 3 X ED i went to Denmark for a month, then i came back on a 30 day extend. Extended 30 days, went to PH for a week and came back on another 30 day extend. Which I extended for 30 days again. Now did the border run just today, and will extend for another 30 days before I head to denmark for Xmas. Then I will come back in January on EV, so this will hopefully be the last time I have to worry when I leave / enter the country.
