in Phuket the “very nice and helpful people” at immigration insist on the bank letter being made that same day that you apply!

So now I have to queue at the bank first thing as they open and then drive for an hour+ in the crazy busy traffic and then queue again mid-morning (rather then first thing) at the “nice helpful” immigration office hoping they won’t think of something else for me to go get to make my day “more pleasant”

could you post the web address you used that worked please. I only re-registered a few weeks ago on their new website. Got everything working then and even registered but today could not register on it to notify arrival at the property. It would not accept the data ???

I don’t go to Government hospitals. I go to the private ones. Prices are still varied depending on nationality or paying yourself or via insurance. 🤷‍♂️

yep. They have categories I have been told and the government said it was OK to charge foreigners more.

You need to go and get a re-entry permit so that you can come back in on your existing and valid visa.

If you leave without a re-entry stamp you will cancel your existing visa!!!

So YES but get a re-entry stamp first from immigration. (I think it is 1,900 baht)
