my bank book also missing some mths but I'm not really concerned about it hardly updated the book unless when visiting immigration for extension as long as you have 12mths statements (from app) and get it stanp by bank staff its all good for immigration

can send back by Swift and I've done it before.....I myself will not be taking that much cash tru immigration even its declared...they can't be taking your money but there might be some unforseen surprise and time wasting is one of them

the OP won't be extending and planning to bring back that 800k its simple to say you just need to declare if more than 15k usd....the OP will be the one going tru immigration will there be any unforseen surprise? I'm saying this for myself i won't be carrying that much cash tru immigration even its declared....yes they can't take away your money BUT they can bring u to a room and start asking questions and waste your time

800k easily exceeds 15k usd...will he be stopped at the airport and immigration going tru his papers of declaration? Will that delay his flight home? Isn't it safer to send some money home and carry the amout that doesn't need declaration?

there's a clause that if he did not keep 400k throughout the year it will make his extension invalid....am i wrong about this?

if he did not keep the 400k as promised and hence the extension becomes invalid will he be fined for overstay? Or shd he withdraw all close to his departure date?

You can withdraw all your money if u decide not to extend your current stay send some ofyour money out of thailand and carry only the amount permited without declaration as there s a limit of carry cash out of the country

yes I do it myself annually....I only learned about the queue appt recently and only use it once but will be using it for next extension

1 week hotel accommodation shd be enough........as i have travel frequently to thailand i gave myself 1 week to settle into my apartment.....

you can make appointment using immigration website..i did mine last week at bkk CW appt at 10am reach there 9.45 show them my appt code and they refer me to counter L-30 after checking my documents by a junior staff it was pass to the next available officer.....by 10.30 I'm already waiting at counter C2 waiting to apply for re entry permit with my new extension stamp
