Can anyone advise please?
When applying for a retirement visa, do you need your health insurance stamped and a form filled out by the insurer? Just been advised by a well know insurer (international) they don’t do this.
Any pointers?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a retirement visa in Thailand, it is important to distinguish between the Non-O visa and the Non-OA visa. The Non-O visa (available for those over 50) does not require health insurance, while the Non-OA visa does require insurance to be documented. Most expats tend to opt for the Non-O visa to avoid the insurance requirement and often secure local insurance once in Thailand.
