It would be a much better choice to take that pension to the Philippines where you can stay 3 years at a time on a regular tourist visa. No bribes, no shady agents and no risk to be denied for having too many stamps every time you enter the country.

It's up to the landlord. You can tell them you want it lowered and see what happens.

I never pay more than 1 month, as it would be pretty impossible to get your money back if the landlord refused and you already left the country.

that is correct. Or get the sim at thr airport, they have tons of SIM booths after the baggage carousels. AIS has the best coverage. True is the fastest in cities.

in my own experience transferring 40,000-50,000 from wise to Bangkok Bank takes a couple of seconds.

I've used wise for 4 years now and only about 1 out of 10 times the transfer takes longer than that.

Not sure how long it takes to transfer from bank to bank through wise though, that should take longer, I'm guessing.

Get a tourist visa (60 days) before you travel and then one extension (30 days) in Thailand.
