What do I need to bring to immigration to transfer stamps from my old passport to my new US passport in Thailand?
I just got my new US passport in and going to immigration tomorrow to hopefully have the stamps transferred over. I just brought my two passports I hope that is all I need??
Also anyone know the going rate for an agent for a marriage visa now up in Korat?

My Thai wife of 20 yrs takes care of all paperwork & pics for marriage extension renewal. I drive us to & from Immigration.

Which local Thai Immigration Office are you going to? is it Korat ( Nakhon Ratchasima ) or Bangkok at Charng Wattana?

Three years ago in Pattaya, no copies needed. There was a form but easy to fill out while I waited.

Greg Alexander I just got stamped out in my new passport and stamp was transferred from old on a privilege visa. For what it’s worth… 🤷♂️ I was told to use both passports coming back next time.

NO, you cannot get a 1-year retirement extension stamp transferred from the old passport to a new passport at the airport Immigration. You can only get the transfer done at the Immigration office that serves the location where your current TM30 accomodation registration is loggedCris ******

I thought you have to switch them over? Also not planning any flights out until next year and I need to extend my visa in about 3.5 months as well

yep, you need to get the stamps transferred at an immigration office. Also your next 90 day report must be done in person so it might make sense to align the two

Krabi, accepted my first 90 day report online, after changing the stamps to it the week before. Might be worth giving it a go.Cris ******

It might vary somewhat by office but normally you will need photocopies of every page in your old passport, both passports and to complete a form in the immigration office.
