I am getting my Non Immigrant visa but I’ve just found a problem.

As a veteran, I get a very expensive oncology pill for free that I’ve been taking for 6 years now. But, Thailand FDA website says that I’m only allowed to bring 30 day supply with me? There has to be a way around this? I can’t go 11 months without my pills and I can’t afford to pay $2k a month to buy them.

Suggestions? Anyone?

I tried to search "medical" to see what people have submitted for this, but the search function is failing.

I plan to apply in Hanoi next month. I could apply as workcation, but I also recently found out I need a major surgery. So, I'm not sure which is better to apply with. If you applied under medical at Hanoi, what did you have to submit?

A question regarding medication.

I'm type 1 diabetic and as such in the UK all my prescriptions are free.

How do you go about 'transfering' my prescription and what are the costs like?

Everything looks good.

But the Canada embassy requested two more documents.

The license for the clinic, and Thai ID of the doctor.

I assume they want to assure it’s a real clinic

So far the doctor doesn’t want to give ID because of possible scam And also they don’t want to scan business license but someone can come in and take photo of it.

I didn’t expect these issues from this clinic. So I’m not sure what I am going to do next.

I certainly can’t give up, this is my second time applying because the first one I made a mistake!

THAI DENTISTRY

Used to be dental treatments in Thailand were both cheaper and (reputably) at least as good as I could hope for in the UK.

Is that still the case?

Or am I as well to get it done back home?

Better to seek out a chain or an independent (I'm staying predominantly in Kanchanaburi Province)?

Any personal advice and or evidence based recommendations sincerely appreciated.

Please don't bother telling me I should go to Taiwan, or elsewhere.

Thanks.
