Any idea what they are specifically asking for here regarding the letter from SAT?

Answer summary
The conversation discusses the documentation required for obtaining a letter of acceptance from the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) necessary for a DTV approval, particularly in relation to licensed gyms. It outlines the need for the gym to be certified by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism and highlights that the gym should handle the submission of required documents and letters on behalf of applicants. It also notes that different embassies, such as those in Los Angeles and Washington DC, have varying requirements for documentation.

This is a letter of support from the Ministry of Sports and Tourism. Los Angeles is now requiring this. It is an additional process that the gym must undertake. A separate set of documents must be created and delivered to the Sports Authority. After that it will take between 5-21 days or more to receive the document. The only gyms that can request this and receive the support letter are gyms that have certification from the Ministry of Sports and Tourism. We have done this on several occasions for our customers and have successfully received the letter. Currently the embassies that require this are Malaysia, China, Singapore, India and now Los Angeles. If you are working with a certified Muay Thai Camp they should be able to apply for this letter although there may be an additional fee as it is a lot more work for the Muay Thai Camp.
Requirements from embassy in LA and Washington DC are different and I’m trying to figure out what they mean by an official letter of acceptance from SAT, as I’ve never been requested this document before
Does your gym have a track record of successful DTV approvals? The gym must be licensed registered certified to qualify. You cannot just pick any ole gym. The gym should know exactly what paperwork to provide for a successful DTV approval.
Just ask Muya Thai Boxing and they will provide it if they properly licensed and registered. This happens as well because many agents copy manipulate documents or Muya Thai at first place did not provide required documents.
