Can I change my 60-day stamp to a 90-day stamp after re-entering Thailand on a Non-O visa?

I have just completed a visa run at Pedang Besar in the south of Thailand.

I have returned on my multiple entry Non-O visa. I am on the bus and maybe 1 hour away and I have noticed they have only stamped me in for 60 days and not 90 days.

It was silly of me not to check. Last time I noticed but today my mind was somewhere else.

Will I be able to get the stamp changed at another immigration office in Nakhon Si Thammarat or Phuket or “it is what it is” ?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can change their 60-day entry stamp to a 90-day stamp after completing a visa run and returning to Thailand on a multiple entry Non-O visa. Responses indicate that changing the stamp usually requires returning to the original immigration office, but there may be a chance to resolve it at another office, depending on their discretion and record accuracy.

you should have done the Sadao border.

Make a U-turn and face the IO who made a mistake. Else you'll have to do it again in 30 days, not 90.

IF another office is willing to look it up in the system and IF the entry information is recorded correctly BUT the stamp is just wrong, they may correct the stamp.

If they recorded you as a Tourist entry could be problematic.

Most times they will want you to go back to the entry point and fix it there.

Nobody wants to take ownership/responsibility for another's mistake.

It will up to the individual office/officer discretion.

Nothing lost for trying.

What stamp did they give you? Tourist?

To fix it you generally need to go back to where you got it. But you can try another office, and the worst they can say is no.
