TLDR : Answer Summary
A U.S. citizen in Nakhon Si Thammarat with an expired visa can extend their 30-day stamp by visiting the local Thai Immigration office. The extension typically costs 1900 Thai baht. It's important to clarify the status of the visa to avoid complications with overstaying.

I believe that the OP has the answers needed for his question. We wish him success in obtaining the 30 day extension of stay at his local Thai Immigration office.

AND while he is there ask the the Thai Immigration Officer for the list of requirements for a New Non O Visa, if that's your plan.

you go to the immigration office at Nakhon Si Thammarat <- the province you say you're staying in..

sure hope you mean you have a visa that is expiring SOON, not an "expired visa" <- which means you are on overstay..

I think he has entered Thailand Visa EXEMPT recently as he had an expired Non O Visa or extension in passport.

How expired?

If you entered Thailand Visa EXEMPT, then you were stamped in for 30 Days.

Go to your local Thai Immigration office and apply for the 30 days extension of stay. 1900 Thai baht.

Hopefully this answers your question. I know you have tried to Post 3 times and the Mod Team replied to you each time by PM.

We still don't know the answers to your prior questions. And I have no clue as to where you are in Thailand.

These are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay. Be sure to have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.
