What is the best language school in Chiang Mai that offers the DTV for a reasonable price?

I am already at a pretty good level with my Thai language skills, but want to improve to an advanced level 🙏

Thanks in advance ☺️

Answer summary

The conversation discusses the best language schools in Chiang Mai that can help with obtaining a DTV visa while also improving Thai language skills. It clarifies that a DTV cannot be acquired solely for language classes; participation in cultural programs, such as cooking or martial arts, is necessary to qualify. Schools such as TSL and Pro Language offer packages that include both language instruction and cultural education.

You cannot get a DTV for language unfortunately. They have an education visa for that though.

Anonymous participant 891 wrong advice. T.S.l language school in chiang mai can help with dtv visa as long as you participate in a cultural programme as well.

read the information. You must take cultural programs to qualify for the DTV. They offer language classes WITH the DTV cultural ones, but you cannot just take language classes and qualify for that visa. You MUST take others like cooking, massage, or muay thai.

Anonymous participant 891 Clarifying is necessary when there is a doubt. There never was any doubt about the information provided on this thread which was; 'T.S.L. language school in Chiang Mai can help with DTV visa as long as you participate in a cultural programme as well'. Suggest you try to improve your reading and comprehension skills.

never complained. Just wanted to clarify that DTV wasnt given for language classes alone...that other cultural classes must also be taken at the same school.

Anonymous participant 891 Let's be clear. OP asked a question. You responded with unhelpful advice because you apparently didn't know what options are available in Chiang Mai. Someone else advised that it was possible and mentioned the need to also participate in a Thai cultural programme. You then told the other contributor and myself what we already knew and had previously stated. Perhaps in future, make some effort to be helpful and read what has been posted. The OP hasn't complained, you have and totally unnecessarily.

I never said anything about wanting a dtv for studying language. OP did. I'm explaining what is written directly on the website that was shared.

Anonymous participant 891 You want a DTV for studying Thai language. You’ve been told not possible. You’ve been shown an alternative and advised that you need to also participate in a Thai cultural programme. If you’re not happy about that then you should complain to Thai MFA.

MUST take cultural classes to qualify for DTV. Language classes are included in the package, but to receive DTV you cannot just take the language class.
