Hi everyone,

My working visa non B will expire at the end of July, and I'm considering applying for an ED visa through a language school. Has anyone gone through this process before?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations for reputable language schools with a good track record of getting ED visas approved. I'd also love to know how long the application and approval process usually takes.

Thank you so much for your help! 🙏

Are you actually on a visa or on an extension of stay? If you're on a visa you'll have to leave Thailand when it expires and then return on a tourist entry. If you're on an extension you might be able to cancel it and immediately apply for an extension based on studying at a school but it will depend on cooperation between everyone involved so might not be easy to achieve, it might be easier just to leave and return on a tourist entry.

In both instances your work permit will need to be cancelled
