Hey guys, I’m coming to Thailand on a 2-month visa and running into an issue finding a condo; most places only offer 6 or 12-month contracts.

I’m a digital nomad, so I was wondering if it’s possible to extend or switch to a longer visa after arriving in Thailand? That way I could commit to a longer lease.

Would really appreciate any advice or experiences

thanks! 🙏

Dear All

I am going to apply from Laos for DTV visa Muay Thai soft power.

The embassy requires to pay in cash “Thai bhat” , I would like to know if it is easy to exchange money to Thai bhat around there “ like is it from any exchange shop we can get Thai bhat “ ?

Also if you have any recommendation of the area name that you suggest to book Airbnb or hotel which will be convenient to go to the embassy.

If you also have any tips to keep in mind while applying the application please drop it in the comments I will really appreciate it.

Thanks and Prayers for all 🙏

Looking to rent an Apartment in Bangkok City for multiple months, but thinking of using Airbnb..how much would I pay in premium? As an example if an apartment is say 1000$ pm, how much would this be listed for on Airbnb? I'm doing this because I don't want to commit to 12 months or pay a deposit..and want the assurance and flexibility of moving at will. Thoughts?

Hello.

Our Airbnb has filed the tm30 at a different address and 3 days after we actually checked in. We need to files the 90 day report soon. The hosts told us to just put this alternative address and date on the tm47. What should we do?

We asked if they'll give it to us, even before booking, they said yes, but didn't mention anything about the "different" information

Has anybody put Airbnb as the hotel address on your tdac. ?

I did on my last one, they had harassed me more about my phone case and my gf picture on it then the tdac. But I’m thinking that’s not wise to put on the tdac

Morning all! We are heading to Hanoi for our dtv application in January. Can anyone recommend a nice budget friendly place that they stayed at? A lot of places seem to look nice but have some scary reviews.

Thank you.

The question might be silly and out of place but I thought Dtv folk would get it. when looking for an apartment is okay to stay in a Airbnb or will it jeopardize my Dtv visa?

When do I need the TM30 first time? For the 90 days report?

Generally, could I also use a TM29 (Self reported) if the lanlord refuses to do a TM30?

I plan to rent an airbnb for the first month in order to rent an appartment myself after that. But I realize that some Airbnb hosts are not willing to do the TM30. I know they are legally required to do it, but if they just don't... well...

I went to Kasokornthai bank branch in Central Island Mall today to get information on opening an account and they are starting they need a lease for one year and currently I am in a Airbnb for 5 1/2 months.

Does anyone have a branch they used more flexible and or other bank recommendations?

Last option would be a recommendation for an agent to assist in opening an account.
