Can I apply for a Thai Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) from Japan as a visitor?
Has anyone applied DTV through Japan? I m in Japan on visit visa and thinking to apply DTV for Thai. Is it possible ?

RubyPersimmon1614 They are better options than Tokyo. A lot of tips on applying at both in the threads. Also consider Osaka, Fukuoka.

OPCan we show Airbnb booking as proof of residence if I apply in Osaka/Fukuoka ? I m currently in Tokyo but will travel and stay in Osaka or Fukuoka if I decided to apply from there.

As a rule IF you're not born, bred, rice-fed Japanese OR legally working/living IN Japan those are piss poor consulates to apply thru :O
As Andi pointed out, many MANY applicants got 6 month METV (Multi-Entry Tourist Visas) instead of DTV's

Even for those you described it is PP. I know several Japanese rejected or downgraded to a TV, all Tokyo.Andi ***********
There are posts from Japan DTV applicants in the threads. It is important to show how you need the DTV for 5 years as Japan is infamous for issuing 6 mths visas instead of the DTV. Fukuoka and Osaka are "friendlier" than Tokyo.
