Need advice, I thought I had this all figured out until the US embassy cancelled my appointment for next week. My 1 year education visa expires Jan 15. I planned on returning to US yesterday but due to covid epicenter issues there. I moved up my marriage, we planned it after I returned summertime. So now that the embassy isn’t available for the affidavit it puts the Amphoe visit on hold. What do I do ? My options to fall in to amnesty ? Or can I file the TM7 with the pending marriage to follow ? Thank you.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing issues with their expiring education visa (ED visa) due to a canceled appointment at the US embassy, which is causing delays in obtaining necessary documents for a marriage to a Thai national. Suggestions include applying for a pending marriage extension or a 60-day extension due to COVID-19. The discussion highlights the importance of proper documentation and navigating Thai immigration regulations.
