I'm currently on visa extension based on employment. My extension is expiring on 30th April. I'm not planning to extend my contract with current employer.
I'm planning to sign an employment contract with new employer on Monday, 2nd May (1st May is Sunday).
I'm married to a Thai and have also half Thai children. Can I use "visiting Thai family extension" to cover the 1 day which I would be in Thailand without visa? After my work permit with new employer is ready. Can I then switch back from "visiting Thai family" to extension based on employment?
EDIT: I would like to add one more detail. I'll be moving from Ayutthaya province to Nakhon Si Thammarat. Not sure if that can be a complication...
Thank you for your help.
