Hi all , I am wondering if someone knows if the border with Myanmar in Ban Phu Nam Ron is open? An agency told me that it is, but another person told me that the last month it was closed, any clue? Thanks

Just came back from Ban Phu Nam Ron’s Border for a visa run. Everything doing well.

I plan to do a border bounce at Ban Phu Nam Ron next week: US citizen with valid non-O (marriage) to get new 90 day stamp. What are the requirements to show at the border in Thailand to get in and out? Will have passport with visa of course, plan to bring thai drivers liscence and yellow house book to show residence. Do you need the 20,000 Bhat in cash or anything else there? TIA

I have a non o visa extension of stay and it's due to rum out on Friday. Would it be possible to go to Ban Phu Nam Ron Border Crossing and do a turn around and come back in on 30 day stamp??

Fellow members/admin, I need to do a border bounce before Dec 25th, I have a 1 year multi entry non O visa based on marriage, Initially I had planned to visit Vietnam but As I am living in Hua Hin I am thinking of using Ban Phu Nam Ron border checkpoint, will I experience any issues as I have heard that a Myanmar visa is required to cross. Also if all is good, what is the procedure and what can I expect as this is my 1st 90 day exit. TIA

Hi there, does anyone know the nearest land border crossing to Nakhon Pathom (west of Bangkok) where someone on a multiple entry tourist visa can exit the country and come back in the same day? Ideally a border crossing that is known to be fairly safe and foreigner friendly.

I've come to Thailand on a METV and I've already got a 60 day extension at the Mae Sai border crossing (in/out) + 30 day extension at the HH immigration office.

The enter before date on the visa is the 10 July.

Queston: Would it be possible to use the Ban Phu Nam Ron crossing into Burma (in/out) to get another 60 day extension, would I have any issues just going over and back on the same day?

I'm an Irish passport holder.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
