Hi there, does anyone know the nearest land border crossing to Nakhon Pathom (west of Bangkok) where someone on a multiple entry tourist visa can exit the country and come back in the same day? Ideally a border crossing that is known to be fairly safe and foreigner friendly.

TLDR : Answer Summary
For those holding a multiple-entry tourist visa and looking to exit Thailand from Nakhon Pathom, the nearest recommended land border crossing is the Ban Phu Nam Ron Border Crossing in Kanchanaburi. This crossing is generally considered safe and is known for being foreigner-friendly. Alternatively, some suggest taking a flight to Kuala Lumpur for a quicker exit and re-entry.

I'd suggest taking taking the earliest AirAsia (shudder) flight to KL then hop on a return a few hours later and you'll be home by 3pm

Yes it's allowed, no issues that I've heard of. Have friends that have done this recently with no reported questions.

Do they still let you do that? I used to do that a few years back. I heard that they were being shitty with people at the airport when you returned.
