I am considering applying for the DTV visa.

I am Dutch, and currently based in The Netherlands. I have a Dutch bank account with more than the required 500k THB in it, registered on my Dutch address. I will apply at the Thai embassy in The Netherlands.

However, I wonder what to submit to satisfy the 'purpose of visit: workaction' requirement.

I used to live in Bulgaria. There, I set up a Bulgarian company. I still use this to this day to receive my income from my YouTube channel (which is my main source of income). It's just a basic LLC type company with a single owner (me).

I have a business bank account for this company, which is registered on an address in Bulgaria. I don't have any clients I work for, it's just for my YT channel (AdSense; sponsorships payments).

Questions I have:

- Would it be enough to provide screenshots from my YouTube channel to satisfy the workcation requirement?

- Would I need to write a letter on behalf of the company that I as an individual am allowed to work remotely?

- Or would I have to submit all kinds of company documents like deed of incorporation etc (which are in Bulgarian...)?

Sharing our successful DTV workation case for me and my spouse.

We are currently based in Bulgaria, so our applications were processed by the embassy in Bucharest.

I applied late in the evening on March 7 and received approval on March 12.

My documents were quite standard - employment contract, proof of accommodation, and bank statements.

I have accounts in three different currencies within the same bank, with a total balance slightly above the equivalent of 500,000 THB. Part of the funds was deposited just a few days before applying - no questions were asked.

I provided bank statements for all accounts for the last 3 months. Additionally, I included a 6-month statement from my salary account to confirm a stable source of income.

My husband applied as a dependent spouse on March 16 and got approved today, March 27.

We submitted our marriage certificate along with an official English translation.

I also wrote a sponsor letter confirming that I will cover all his expenses.

My husband does have his own income - we mentioned his employer and income details, but did not attach his contract.

The bank statements were mine (the same ones I used for my application).

We didn’t receive any additional requests or questions from the embassy - everything went smoothly and quite fast.

Are there any Bulgarians that have applied for the DTV visa online by selecting another embassy and can you share your experience?

I applied on the 29th of January online through the Thai embassy in Copenhagen Denmark as I live in Denmark and my company is registered here but my application is still pending approval. I have also not gotten any requests for additional documents.

I know the process can take much longer but I read here in the group that people from Romania and Bulgaria have come across some issues and I was not sure if that happens in general to nationals from our countries or just when people apply through the Bulgarian/Romania embassies.

Hi! I am looking at the new visa free for 60 days countries as of 15th of July and I am kinda confused. For example when I am looking at the Thai E-visa official website and I insert all of required information I receive a message that states: You can travel to Thailand without a visa for no longer than 60 days.

However, Bulgaria, Romania and few other countries are also in the section visa on arrival, so I am really getting confused. Does anyone have an idea or should I contact the embassy. Thank you

I want to apply for METV. Planning to stay 60+30 days extension the first time. Can the exit plane ticket from Thailand I send to the embassy for visa application be at day 89 or it has to be within the first 60 days?

Also, for METV, do they require return plane ticket to your country of origin or any exit plane ticket from Thailand (ex. Malaysia, Japan) will be good?

Hello there! Chinese citizen currently traveling in Turkey. I'm trying to get at least a Thai tourist visa from a Thai Embassy out of China since now going back to China is a pain in the a**. Asking for a friend, He is from bulgaria came with a tourist visa and was stamped 60 days. can he extend 30 days from immigration here ? he holds a bulgarian passport.
