I am in Prasat, Surin. Chong Chom is my closest border crossing. I want to do a border run. Does anybody have any info on the latest experience there? Do I have to stay one or two days in Cambodia? I don't have a car at the moment so an extension in Surin is my last choice.

I want to take my Buriram Thai family across the border to Angkor Wat at Chong Chom but they only have id cards. Anyone with any experience with this?

Does anyone know if the Chong Chom/O Smach border is still open for a border bounce?

If anyone is going to Chong Chom to border bounce - the immigration officer said that you can leave Thailand, but only re enter by air.

Three of us went to the border 2 UK passport holders and an Australian passport holder.

FYI, did a Visa Exempt Border Bounce in Chong Chom / O'Smach yesterday. VOA for Cambodia is 1.3k baht, USD not accepted (I really try, bills were very clean)). Then there a 300 baht bribe after filing arrival-departure card (10 usd can do for this one). So overall it's 1.6k baht to Bounce in-out. It's much quicker then Nong Khai border ofc because it's empty and other side is like 30s walk from each other. Can do the whole thing in 20 min depending on how fast you can write. Nothing else to know it's really easy process.

where is the cheapest place to do a border run and how long I have to stay out of Thailand for. I live in Sisaket. I'm here on visa exempt 30 days extended once. Can I just go to Chong chom or Chong ang Nam cross the border for for hours and return to thailand and get another 30 day visit exempt?

Any time I leave thailand by land I get another 30 days in the padt

When I return.

I always fly in . I haven t done a land crossing in 2 1/2 years.

I there any requrements ?

Hey. Im currently in Buriram and need yet another 2 month tourist visa, i have done several in the past but the last 2 has been a motorbike run to Chong Chom to get a 1 month that you can do 2 times every year. So what is the best options? Ride to poipet and pay people to obtain a visa or laos?
