Just made appointment with Vfs for visa for my girlfriend to be with me in July. Earliest appointment is July 29. Not sure, but is there any means to speed up tis process?

Hi I have not yet applied for the STV, I have 21 days until my flight. I’ve heard that it takes up to 30 days for a visa to be approved? Is there any way to expedite this process. And if there is not is it worth the “Hail Mary”?

Thanks so much for any help in advance

update 12/12

I spoke to the honorary consulate in Boston, they do process SE Tourist Visas and Non-immigrant B visas. It can be done same day as you meet directly with the consular officer and you have to make an appointment. However the documents must all be submitted in English (my Thai employer has all the docs in Thai). Only LA and NY (and possibly DC) process documents in Thai.

For expediting services at the LA consulate I ended up going with: www.unitedpvs.com

thanks to everyone, it quelled the panic

update follow up q:

Is it possible to apply for non immigrant B visa at the Thai Consulate in Boston?

tl;dr:

Can anyone recommend a service to expedite a non-immigrant B visa for a US citizen at the Thai consulate in LA?

I will be employed at a University here in CNX and need to apply for a non immigrant B work visa from the LA consulate. I will be traveling in the US Dec. 19-29th and need to receive my passport back within that narrow time frame.

I browsed the search bar but couldn't find anything relevant, so appreciate your guidance.

Hi,

Just wondering if someone could recommend a reputable visa service that offers expedited service. I live in the US. I'm leaving in 3 weeks and don't want to take a chance with just any service. Thanks
