Hi I have not yet applied for the STV, I have 21 days until my flight. I’ve heard that it takes up to 30 days for a visa to be approved? Is there any way to expedite this process. And if there is not is it worth the “Hail Mary”?

Thanks so much for any help in advance

Answer summary

The inquiry revolves around the STV (Special Tourist Visa) application process, with concerns about the approval timeline. It's noted that while some sources mention a potential wait of 30 days, the consensus seems to be a maximum of 15 working days for approval. A few responses also discuss personal experiences regarding varying wait times for their own STV approvals, with one individual receiving theirs in only 6 hours. Additionally, the importance of applying for a Thailand Pass is highlighted, suggesting it might be integral to the visa application process.

I think you mean the thailand pass.

There is no way you can get STV within 18hours.

Unless you are a VIP with good connection to the government I guess
