Hi all, apologies if this doesn't meet the group rules and guidelines. Admin please feel free to delete if not relevant. Firstly, are land border crossings open on Wednesday 25th of December (Christmas day)? Secondly, am I able to apply for a 60 day visa exempt entry back to back?

It is only the 2nd time I'm applying for a visa exempt entry this year. My current visa exempt entry expires on Wednesday the 25th of December and I'd like to return to Thailand on the same day and request a 2nd visa exempt entry. Does this sound feasible?

Previously (for the past 7 and a half years, I've been living in Thailand) on an initial 12 month non immigrant O visa based on being married to a Thai national and after that, I've been living here on 12 month non immigrant O visa extensions based on being married to a Thai national.

Thanks all for any current information and a special shout out to the Admin team for keeping this group accurate and concise. I've been living here continuously for 8 years thanks to the support from this group.

Does a 401k statement meet the financial requirements for obtaining O-A visa from the Embassy in Washington, DC?

Also, is the 60 day family visit extension available to me if I enter 60 days visa exempt? Thanks

Please confirm if my understanding is correct.

I received a Non-IMM O visa (married to Thai wife) with multiple entry.

I entered Thailand on 6/4/23 and departed on 8/31/23 (89 days).

My plan is to return to Thailand on 11/1/23 and get stamped in for 90 days. Before the 90 days expire, I plan to leave Thailand to visit a neighboring country (probably Laos) for about a week, then return to Thailand and get stamped in for another 90 days before returning to the USA on or about 3/1/24.

Could I apply for the 60 days extension first then for the yearly one?

Thanks!

What are the requirements to extend a TR-60 visa if you're married to a Thai national? We have a child together as well.

Not sure if anyone would be able to answer this, but..... I'm due to apply for my 1st year's extension on being married to a Thai - money in bank account will mature in the next couple of weeks, and 90 day's Non-O expires at the beginning of November. We've been told when we got here that we need a new Kor-Ror 22. Unfortunately our local Amphur office is closed as its currently underwater and we have no idea when it will re-open. We're also unable to actually get to Korat as all the roads to get there are also flooded. My wife says she can't call Korat Immigration as they don't answer the phone. Hopefully the water will subside soonšŸ¤ž, but as its still rising at the moment I'm getting a bit concerned as to what we do if we canā€™t get there or get the paperwork they asked for? Is there any way kind of extra time for extenuating circumstances?
