The Non-O visa is valid for 90 days after entering Thailand, regardless of the visa's issue date. You can apply for a 1-year extension based on the reason your Non-O visa was issued, but only when you have 30 days or less remaining on your entry stamp. Some offices may allow applications up to 45 days early. If you're married to a Thai citizen or have a half Thai child, you might qualify for a one-time 60-day extension to visit family.
