I just got my DTV eVISA approved and sent to my email (PDF). Valid from 17/05/2025 to 16/05/2030!!!

Do I still need to go to the embassy where it got approved to get a sticker on my passport? Any advice on next steps is more than welcomed!!

Process:

1. Applied 29th apr 2025

2. Docs check 30th apr 2025

3. Additional proof requested 2nd may 2025

4. Pending approval 13th may 2025

5. Approved 17th may 2025

Less than 20 days.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received their DTV eVISA approval via email and is inquiring about the need to visit the embassy for a passport sticker. Community members confirm that no sticker is required since the eVISA is valid as a PDF document. Instead, the user should print out the eVISA approval email and present it upon arrival in Thailand, where they will receive a stamp in their passport.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

Hi h agency did you use?

I would not use any agent. Why you need an agent? You just need to upload few docs thru the eVisa website of the embassy of your choice

Thanks Jose. I need the DTV so badly, but not sure which agent I should trust. All ask for upfront pay. I got screwed by an agent already and not sure who to trust for the DTV. Any advice?

no need to go anywhere just fly to Thailand and show this DTV letter when you arrive at the airport. Its E visa not sticker visa. Make sure you fulfill TDAC before arrival. All the best

Just print out your email approval and show with your passport when you enter Thailand and you will receive the DTV Stamp in your passport, just check the expiry date to ensure it’s correct after you receive the stamp. Enjoy 🀩

There is no sticker for the new DTV.

Anonymous participant 778 that’s right. I thought the immigration officer was going to place that cool sticker on my passport, but in the end it was just the usual stamp with hand written DTV and 180 days on it. Still I am glad I got the DTV visa approved πŸ™‚
