I flew in and received a 60 day visa exempt on UK passport.

I want to extend for another 30 days, making total 90 days.

Can this be done from your first day of arrival onwards or does it have to be towards the end of the 60 day visa exempt to get the full additional 30 days extension?

Also am I best to extend in Patong office or when I go to Koh phangan? Is there one thats quicker and more efficient you would choose?

information for admin (Ellie). Just a follow up as promised re question from Jo Jacobs 4 days ago regarding 90 day report for non imm ox visa holders.

I attended PATONG immigration this morning to clarify my position. The officer was the same who did my first 90 day report. The receipt from that report stated next report 12 months time. I asked again if correct. He said yes, you have "SPECIAL" visa no need for 90 day report come back as stated. No appointment etc just bring TM47. (I will take all paperwork just in case). As admins stress immigration offices have different rules. As this is Patong office the rule could be different at other offices. Check with local office every time.

I'm in Phuket on a 60 day tourist visa TR. Can I do the 30 day extension at the immigration office in Patong or do I have to do this at the immigration office in Phuket Town?

Hi guys maybe this has been answered ...can I do my covid extension in Patong immigration office as I went there today and they only gave me 1 application form Tm7

Planning to extend our TR 60 day visa in Phuket.

As far as I can tell, I need:

* passport and TM6

* Copies of above

* 2x passport photo

* 1900 B

Couple of question:

1. Is there anything else I need?

2. Is the Patong office open?

3. Will I get my passport back straight away?

4. Any other tips?

I am in Patong (Phuket) where can I get my TR visa extended and how many days will it take? Can I apply for 30 or 60 days more?

just as an update for people living on phuket.....

I have now confirmation of some long stay foreigners try doing their 90 day report and have been out of the country for a trip, have to register in 24 hours after that trip !. If not you have to pay a fine 1600 thb! and do a new register before the 90 days report.

All this happened in Patong immigration office!
