British passport, genuine tourist not been to Thailand for about 4 years.

visiting Thailand as a tourist on the 45 day visa exempt. have an onward flight, have plenty enough cash to meet the 20,000, amount asked, what are the chances of immigration asking for pre booked accomodation please.

I’m British and travelling to Thailand in a few weeks time. Plan to be there for 7 weeks. Do I need a visa? Is this something I have to do before or just at the airport? Thanks

Please can I have some advice. My boyfriend and I are travelling to Thailand in November, we were planning to stay 3-6 months. We are from the UK.

After looking into it, we are trying to decide which is best to do

1. Enter Thailand with the visa exempt for 45 days then get a 30 day extension. Leave Thailand and spend a few nights in Cambodia then go back to Thailand and be visa exempt again for another 45 days then get another extension

Or

2. Apply for a tourist visa which allows us 60 days, then extend for 30 days. After this, travel to Cambodia for a few nights, then are we allowed back in Thailand on the visa exempt?

Hi All, I want to travel from the UK to Thailand in a couple of months time and stay for just under 90 days. I would be grateful for any advice regarding the best way to go about it when it comes to visa exempt/visa requirements/agents etc ?

Wonder if someone can advise - looking at traveling to Thailand in June but would also like to visit Vietnam and Cambodia. I’m looking at traveling for 8 wks so will arrive in Bangkok and will look to stay 3 wks then move on for couple of weeks and then back. Will the Tourist visa be okay ? Hi folks, a kind gent pointed me in this direction as I was asking about Thai visas on another page. I'm from the UK so I get 30 days free visa, can someone answer are you limited to how many times u may extend for 30 days from withing Thailand? I did it once about five years ago. My wife (indonesian) will be travelling with me and also has the 30 days free so we will likely want to stay longer. Unfortunately her employer is causing us some issues and we've ran out of time to apply for propper visas at the embassy as we will arrive in Thailand on the 30th of this month. - side question if you wouldn't mind answering, we will get our pcr before departure, fly to phuket.. Do we get a pcr test on arrival or is that something that I'm supposed to prebook? Thanks for any help im a bit useless when it comes to this stuff 👌

Hi, Anyone have any luck getting a STV after arriving in thailand under the visa exempt country list. Im from the UK and was told I can apply for a visa whilst in thailand but now im being told by others i cant? Anyone done this before at a local immigration office in thailand?

Does anyone know if Thailand may change their rules on visitors from the U.K. ? With omicron rising more countries like france and Germany aren’t letting us in. Just wondering if they may change the rules before I fly in the 29th.
