Travelingl to Thailand for retirement in April with a valid 90 day non o retirement visa

My question is which airlines out of UK on a one way ticket will not reject my boarding because I have no onward return/ destination

Thai airways TG917, LHR/BKK@ (21.30) hrs flight cancelled,12/4/24 that’s going to have knock on effects,. Been running like clockwork for ages, shame,I wonder if EVA will take some of the passengers, if so EVA (BRO68) is going to be chocka,.(update) the thai jet is still parked on stand opposite the terminal)

Been living in Phuket for 2 years and planning on heading back to UK end April for a few weeks….when traveling back to Phuket do I still need to fly direct from London or can I stop off at Bangkok with out hassles with quarantine etc?

Advice please for a newbie going to Thailand on 21 February (hopefully 🤞) from the UK.

I understand UK Citizens have to fly direct to Thailand.

1. Is it only Thai Airways who fly direct?

2. Going on an O-A visa (Retirement) which I will complete Monday or Tuesday once I receive my Health Insurance certifications, is 3 weeks long enough to send passport to Thailand Embassy and receive back and also then obtain the COE?
