Validity: Valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

Length of Stay: Grants up to 60 days per entry. You can extend each 60-day entry once for an additional 30 days at a local Thai immigration office for a 1,900 THB fee.

How it works for 6 months: You enter Thailand for 60 days, extend it by 30 days (total 90 days), and then make a border run or short trip out of the country to re-enter for another 60-day stamp (plus a 30-day extension) to hit the 6-month mark Be aware there is a new problem when leaving Brittany that some airport carriers do not let you leave if the first Visa period is not correspondending with your actual stay, so if you first period of stay is 60 day you need an outbound ticket after that period, what you can do is buy a cheap outbound ticket that you will not use. Best to inform with your specific carrier what the rules are

You don't need to be employed to get a tourist visa. For the METV you should show why you need one, so ticket into Thailand, ticket out of Thailand and a ticket back to Thailand
