Korean Bank app is fine, not Thai.

And yes you will have an appointment (10-15 minutes) where they will look over your documents and Bank app

One thing people don't talk about is how to get a taxi in Laos. It's best to download the LOCA app and make an account BEFORE you land in Laos.

You have to stay until your appointment is finished. Your visa decision will be made the same day after your appointment. (Usually within an hour or 2 )

Don’t mention about you Thai bank account

1. You can use an English translation. It’s accepted and even recommended because they will most likely ask you to provide your bank statement in English anyway, as they usually can’t read Korean or Chinese.

2. It’s better to submit your Korean bank account statement.

3. You have around a 70–80% chance of being called for an interview, whether you apply under the Workation or the Soft Power category.

4. I wouldn’t recommend leaving Vientiane. There’s a high chance you’ll be called for an interview, so it’s better to stay there. If you want to visit Luang Prabang or another place later, you can, but you should be careful not to leave the country until your visa process is finished.

What bank do you use? Most if not all Korean banks do issue English-language certificates. I applied using my account at 하나은행. Do note that the Thai embassy in Seoul at least wouldn't accept self printed statements, only those printed by the bank and with its stamp on it.
