What should I know about the eVisa application process in Thailand, especially regarding delays?
A couple of days ago I posted about my friend's evisa issues. He applied with only 11 business days due to technical difficulties paying their fee. Fwiw he was also delayed due to slow receipt of new US passport.
Well he lucked out with 11 hours to flight and got the visa from the LA office.

The post discusses a friend's recent experience with obtaining a Thailand eVisa under tight time constraints, emphasizing challenges such as payment technical difficulties and passport delays. Despite the setbacks, the friend successfully received their visa just hours before departure from the LA office.

"lucked out" - in Australia this means he was out of luck, ie. he didn't get it.
