TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the timeframe for applying for a yearly R-A visa extension varies by immigration office. Most offices allow applications to be submitted 30 days prior to the expiration date. However, in some regions like Bangkok and Chiang Mai, applications can be accepted as early as 45 days before the due date. Phuket also follows the 45 days rule.
Thank you for the quick reply. Really appreciate that.

Of course it depends on which Immigration office that you attend - some will have different requirements, but most are 30 days prior to expiry.

Please contact your immigration office for details as it is office specific condition. Most offices accept yearly extension application 30 days in advance until the due date. Some offices such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, etc, accept those from 45 days before the due date.
