Hi all I'm on an initial 3 months non O visa and going to apply for a 12 month extension for retirement. Does anyone know what the processing time is in Chiang Mai immigration? And also i waa told I can apply a maximum of 45 days before the 3 month non O expires. Is this correct? Someone else just told me it was a maximum of 30 days before expiry. Many thanks ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Most offices provide the retirement extension all in a single visit. Chiang Mai allows applications 45 days before your existing stamp expires.

every office is different. But the larger ones (Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket) all allow 45 days. Even some smaller ones do like Hua Hin. But those 3 for sure.

Indeed, the OP needs to go there to get their list of requirements which can be office specific including the application time of 30 or 45 days
