Hello everyone, my 30-day extension on my visa exemption expires on the 1st of April, but I’m getting my marriage registered on the 30th of March to my Thai spouse. Is it possible to apply for a 60-day visiting family extension right after the marriage registration? If so, which immigration office in Bangkok should I go to(I extended at Laksi last month). Thank you

Edit: A visa agent just told me if I already extended then I can’t extend again. Can someone confirm?

Hello,

For a visa exemption extension, I currently am registered on a TM30 at a condo I rented for 3 months in BKK.

Is it better to go in a hotel to make a TM30 for 1-2 nights and go get the 30 days extension at the immigration?

I am wondering if the TM30 being at a condo for months and not a hotel is seen as a red flag for immigration officers.

Thank you

For visa extension on 60day visa exemption entry, do we apply at Immigration Division 1 or Laski. Can we apply early or 2 weeks before exit date? On the form, they ask to state reson for extension, what do you guys state or can leave it blank? Thanks

Is TM30 an absolute requirement for tourist visa 30 day extension?

UPDATE: went to LAK SI Immigration office for the 30 day extension and a TM30 was NOT required.

I did provide my lease agreement in lieu and it was sufficient. However, I too would recommend getting a TM30 just to be safe. Thanks all for your help below!

Hello.

I just want to ask if these are still the requirements for extending a 60-day tourist visa?

According to the Thai immigration website, I don't need a TM30 or copy of my arrival stamp? Is that right?

Has anyone done this recently and can confirm?

Also, is it at Changwattana or Laksi immigration?

Many thanks.

How early can you apply to extend a 30 day visa exempt entry at Laksi? Do you have to wait a certain number of days?

Has anyone made an online appointment to renew a 60 day tourist visa at Laksi? I checked on the appointment website and e-visas aren’t on the list. Is that still ok?

Hi, I have some questions on how to do an extension for my visa exemption stamp received on 16th June and expiring on Saturday 15th July. Being my first one, I'm unsure about some details apart from the location being Laksi and I'd be grateful for any help.

As far as I understand the visa extension is given from the date you apply for it rather than when the original date expires? Can anyone confirm this is true? If so, how many days before do you recommend going? I was thinking two days so I wouldn't lose too many days?

I do have a TM30 from the place I'm currently renting, even though they have not filled in my whole name (I guess I'll have to ask them to redo it, if the immigration app allows that?). Does Immigration want to see a contract too?

Sorry for the many questions, I'm also looking at getting an "Education Visa" to actually learn Thai properly, so hopefully this might be the only visa extension I'll do (I only did STV previously).

Thanks! 😊
