For visa extension on 60day visa exemption entry, do we apply at Immigration Division 1 or Laski. Can we apply early or 2 weeks before exit date? On the form, they ask to state reson for extension, what do you guys state or can leave it blank? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 60-day visa exemption, you should apply at the immigration office located at IT Square Laksi Plaza. You can apply for the extension when you have 45 days or less remaining on your current visa stamp. It's also noted that applying early does not negatively affect your visa, as the additional 30 days will be added to your existing expiration date. Regarding the extension form, you can state 'tourism' as the reason or may leave it blank.

On 60 day visa exempt entry you go to the immigration office at IT Square Laksi Plaza

You need a TM 30 showing you're registered as staying in Bangkok

You can go for the extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp. You don't lose any time going early, they add the 30 days to your expiration date.

There are copy and photo shops next to the immigration office

I am currently staying in Pathum Thani. I have to go to Pathum Thani office for extension right instead of Bangkok? Thank you

why did you ask about C/W or Laksi if you aren't in Bangkok? πŸ˜•

You cannot use a bangkok immigration office if you don't stay in Bangkok, you use the immigration office serving the area where you live

So you go here

I noticed when I was at immigration office last week that the evisa extension system is live now. I wonder if that can be used for VE entries? I looked at the website at the time and it said that it was only for tourist visas. Does that mean TV’s issued by consulates overseas or does it include VE? Just a thought. If they include non O visas in the future it could save a lot of time printing out copies of documents. Here’s hoping

it's a minimum of 500 baht (extra to the 1900baht extension fee) to use the company that does the eVisa extensions,

you apply online, you upload your documents online, you pay online, you get a confirmation then you go to Chaengwattana on the 3rd floor to the eExtension office and they stick the extension sticker in

It's only for a limited number of reasons right now, and retirement/marriage to a thai are not available BUT you can do it for visa exempt entries or tourist visa entries

They've been running eExtensions for a good number of years now
