What is the process for obtaining a Thai visa from the embassy in Bucharest for remote workers?
Hi everyone, just wanted to share with you the process of getting the visa at the Thai embassy in Bucharest this week. Everything went very smooth, no additional documents required after the application was first submitted and no interview.
Applied on the 2nd of September and received the visa this morning (roughly 6 working days).
I applied for remote worker, uploaded all the documents in Romanian language, nothing translated or legalized. I attached from the beginning a letter from the employer confirming everything in the contract, and also my declaration that I would not work in Thailand. 6 moths of bank statements and the payslips.
The police verification is issued almost instantly for Romanian citizen online and as proof of residence I uploaded the Romanian ID.

Mine took only 3 days. Really good experience.
