Hi all,

I'm working remotely atm setting up a business which is not yet profitable. I comfortably have sufficient savings to meet the requirements, but I'm worried if I apply I will be denied as I won't be able to show clients/income.

Do you think it's safer to apply under soft power activities (muay thai) for this reason?

Hi. So, I am currently in Vientiane and just submitted my retirement visa documents. The process went very fast. (Last time I was here the documents were checked twice at another area, to make sure all was correct).

I was given a pick up date for Wednesday (previously it was the next day, but this time 2 days wait).

Is it normal now to have to wait 2 days before collecting or does it indicate there may need more time to check my history? (I have a LOT of different Thailand stamps including, Tourist, education and volunteer).

At this stage can the visa still be denied?

Just a little nervous.

Thank you all.

This is about arriving in Thailand from the Philippines on a 60 day Tourist Visa and showing a 90 day return on another flight booking.

The intention is to apply for a 30 day extension before the 60 day Tourist Visa expires.

There are no back to back visits involved.

Does anyone know if this could give rise to an issue on arrival or even cause the 60 day Visa application to be denied in the Philippines at the Thai Embassy there.

Hey there 🤗

I have been on an education visa for the last two years here. My school advised for me to go home and get a new passport as I have many stamps for Thailand and they won’t renew for a third year unless I have a new passport.

I have since decided not to renew with that school, however now I will be applying for the 6 month tourist visa instead, and am worried that they will deny me the visa (even though I will have all of the appropriate paperwork) due to having many stamps in and out of Thailand in the past few years in this passport.

Does anyone know any information about this? Should I really be getting a new passport or does it not matter since all my information is in the immigration computer system anyways? Thanks

I'm applying for a new tourist visa. it will be the third one I have received from a thai embassy.

1. Canadian, sept 2017

2. Laos, March 2018

3. will be Canadian again

I also have 30 day extensions on those used visas, and 2 border runs done (I know I'm maxed on those for the year)

worried about my 3rd visa possibly getting denied as suspect for living in TH....? anyone have any good info for me? a friend told me 2 visas in my passport shouldn't be a big deal, but wanted to see what other people thought... I was hoping to apply for a ed or work visa AFTER I arrived rather than before...

oh, I'm also thinking that maybe a multiple entry visa might be a better option than the single entry that ive had in the past....?

thanks for your help :)
