Some agencies propose 15 months (3+12 ) non o visa how is it possible ?
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around agencies claiming to provide a 15-month Non-O visa, which generally consists of an initial 90-day Non-O visa followed by a 12-month extension of stay. Participants clarify that the initial visa is typically valid for 90 days, after which a 12-month extension can be applied for at a local immigration office in Thailand. It's emphasized that while agents can expedite the process, they may charge higher fees and involve specific requirements like maintaining a minimum bank balance. Members also discuss difficulties with obtaining a bank account and the necessity of fulfilling financial criteria to secure the extension.

This option is intended for when you need assistance from the Visa Agency with the 880k deposit. After a year, you have several options: 1. 12 x monthly salary of at least 65k; 2. a deposit of 800k that must be in your Thai bank account at least 2-3 months in advance; 3. a combination of your 12 x monthly salary and a deposit (12 x 40,000 + deposit of 400,000, 12 x 60,000 + deposit of 200,000-300,000). The combination scheme varies by immigration office. Therefore, you must inquire well in advance about what type of deposit they require for which monthly salary.
If I apply for a non o retirement visa from uk can my husband and 2 children go on as dependents non o inside Thailand if they have the right documents?
TalentedSalamander9109 not likely. You will probably need a Non-Imm-O/A Visa, so your wife can apply for the Non-Imm-O Dependent. Your children (must be under 20 years old) need to have their own dependent visa
Alan Rothwell Thanks for a clear procedure. How easy to get the bank account, you just show your Visa type , evidence of funds to be transferred & reason for it. ?? Is that it, I've heard stories of issues getting an account. Any particular banks better to deal with . Thanks
Agent can do for you visa, open bank account and put money inside for 1 day just for visa but have to pay a lot better to get Elite Visa. You can do by your self just for 2000 plus 1900 bat for extention.
The Non O visa give you 90 days permt to stay, it also give you the possibility to apply for a 1 year temporary permit (cost 1900 baht) Application for extension for temporary stay in the kingdom (TM 7) This is not a Visa, and sort under immigration and Royal Thai police, Visas sort under the embassies outside Thailand and under the Ministry of Foreign affairs. It is however possible to apply for the initially Non O inside Thailand (2000 baht) and you will get a 90 days stamp in your passport.
90 days initially and then a 12 month extension. Tue 90 days gets you the bank account and you can go from there. Alternatively apply for a 12 month visa from your home country and go from there. Only 12 months from when you arrive though not the additional 3 months.
15 months visa is phantasy. Doesn't exist. Non o is 90 days. Thats all. Cost is like € 50 - 100 at Thai embassy in your country. In Thailand you apply for 12 months extension of stay for THB 1900 at immigration office. That is easy to do, especially when your embassy is doing so called "Affidavit". Will take you max 30 minutes at immigration to get 12 months extension of stay. Simple and efficient.
GorgeousPassionfruit9416 almost every visa that isn’t a tourist visa in almost every country costs money… 1900 baht for 1 year is not expensive… so not really about the money at all
Franz Turibaka And if Americans had a brain Trump would be working on another bankruptcy and not be the president. Makes as much sense as your comment.
If you arrive on Visa Exempt or Tourist Visa then you can get a Non O in Thailand which is 3 months then get your first annual Extension which is another 12 months. Agents can get them both at the same time which gives you 15 months.
Roberto Montebello Immediately begin 65K baht or more per month international transfers into a Thai account, and after you have a minimum of 12 months of 65K+ transfers consistently, every month, you can switch to this method and get your 800K out of hock. But as the commenter said, you've got to get on this stuff ASAP... Make it your primary focus for the first month, and get it all straightened out and out of the way.
Roberto Montebello yes you will need a bank account for the 12 month extension. The 3 month give you the time to get it sorted but you have to move fast.
Roberto Montebello yes, of course you must be able to fulfill the financial requirements. If you don't have own funds, the agent will open the bank account for you and place 800,000 THB into it for 20 minutes. However after that, you will need the agent again and again, for every annual extension. And the agent has a price for such a service, it is called paying tea money to Immigration
You get the non-O visa before arriving, and then the 12 month extension of stay ( it's not a visa) for 1900 tbt. OR pay someone thousands to do same thing.
