Hello,

Im trying to get a DTV remote work visa. Did anybody hire an agency to help them? I looked into it, but they are so expensive, some wanting from $139 just for consultation, to almost $1000 for DTV visa help. Then on top of that the $400 visa fee.

Which is the best one to use? Which visa agency did you guys use?

Also where is the easiest port of entry into Thailand so i dont get hassled by immigration when i go?

You work online and you can’t figure out how to apply for a visa ??

No need for agents at all, unless you have a notoriously difficult embassy

it is what it is and agencies aren't going to go thru the trouble applying or helping you apply for a FIVE year visa for nothing.. I mean after you get that visa you're not going to use them for at least another 5 years :P

Siam Legal International has a DTV dedicated team (although they charge you a consult fee to vet you and see if you qualify)

Just had mine approved and tbh I wasn’t sure on what to do and I put full faith into ChatGPT, it told me what to do, drafted all the letters etc I needed. I used it for everything other than sensitive information.

It all obviously worked and I don’t think I would have got it.

OP
Anonymous participant 212 I'm using chatGPT also, it drafted all the letters and told me what to do step by step, but I don't really know if it's correct, I'm going for the WorkCation since I have my own business. I feel one little mistake and they may reject it

Anonymous participant mine is Workcation and I’m a business owner. Just go with it but keep asking the questions and challenge it. It worked for me and I don’t think on my own I’d of got it right.

With all of your worrying maybe it's best you not apply for the DTV visa under workcation. Look at other options for it in soft power activity DTV.

When you are eligible for workcation, it is easier to apply for that than for softpower.

For all DTV financial requirement and crime record are exactly the same, for a remote job you only need employment contract and letter you can do your job remote.

Softpower needs much more documents, and when the price of a visa agent already seems to high to OP, the softpower activity also might be far too expensive.

You can absolutely prepare and submit your application yourself without hiring an agency. The key is understanding the requirements and making sure your supporting documents are properly prepared and presented.

If you're applying under the Workcation category, this detailed guide walks you through the requirements, supporting documents, and application process:
