Good morning.

My work permit and visa expires the end of April.

If I apply for the Covid 19 visa, it will be valid until the end of June 2021.

Is it possible to go to immigration before the end of May to extend it until the end of July?

What happens if your work permit expired and you’re still in the country? Is there anyways you can extend or renew it without leaving the country? If so, what’s an option? Thank you in advance.

A Question that properly been up here before :) My friends workpermit and employment is expired this month, but his Non B will expire in December. He wish to go next week to Sawannakhet and change to a Non O. Question is do he need to have his Non B cancelled first or can he just cross the border and apply for the new visa? TIA

I'm a US citizen and currently have a work permit which expires on September 30. I want to change to a retirement visa at that point, and understand that I have to transfer the 800K into a Thai bank account 3 months in advance (I think that's clear from past postings ;-) However, I'm a bit concerned about the timing. I'm going back to the US for a visit in July. Would it be better to apply for the non-resident visa while I'm in the States, or should I do it in Thailand when I finish my job and give my work permit back? Will I need to leave the country to switch visas? Is there anything else I need to do? (Sorry if these questions have been asked already - couldn't find the answers when I searched.)

Some may know. Went to cancel my Work Permit today and was told new rule only employer can cancel. Rule verified by supervisor. Asked if ok to just leave WP expire she said employer still has to cancel. Believe they want employer to show taxes have been paid.

Good day everyone.

My visa and work permit will be expiring on 30th September and I will be leaving the country on that day to get a new visa.

My question: Is it necessary to cancel my visa and work permit since they are both expiring the same day that I will be exiting the country?

Thank you.
