Can I extend my Covid 19 visa until the end of July if my current visa expires in April?

My work permit and visa expires the end of April.
If I apply for the Covid 19 visa, it will be valid until the end of June 2021.
Is it possible to go to immigration before the end of May to extend it until the end of July?
