I received Evisa yesterday. I noticed there was a Remark wrote the wrong remark, I applied as Business owner but not as student in a college 😑. I received this visa 10:35PM thai time yesterday. Then 11:35PM yesterday I received the mail of Void Visa Application.
Now the status in the Evisa portal is showing Processing Printing Visa Stamp.
Will they provide me with the correct Visa. Or there is something else wrong.
Wanted to share positive story. APPROVED in Hanoi with Soft Power route, and Wild Cat Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai. @wildcatmuaythai.
I applied on Monday 31st of April and received e-mail one week later at 3pm on 7th of April, which I did not expect as it is day off in Thailand.
No request for another documents, pending document check after one day and then another days waiting in patience.
I write this few days later as I got quite sick (Acute bronchitis with very bad cough) and I am still recovering slowly.
Please mind Hanoi is fun, but pm 2.5 pollution was even 250 when I was there. It had massive impact on my health.
I would love to thank Meaw from the gym as she helped us with gym documents and was very professional, also I'd like to thank all members of group, as your posts and answers helped me a lot.
STATEMENT was 3 months full statement, above 14k Euro for 3 weeks before applying.
I also added photo of me in Hanoi, in front of Hotel and tickets and so on to the location.
For those who have successfully obtained their DTV with a Hong Kong passport.
I’m going to apply in Hanoi soon and would like to ask — as a Hong Kong passport holder, what should I write in the ‘Place of Issue’ field? Should it be ‘China’ (the code of the issuing state) or ‘Hong Kong’ (the issuing authority)? Both are shown on the passport’s bio-data page.
After my visa application got cancelled, I don't have any other option except to try applying again. But at the same time, I'm running out of time on my Vietnamese visa — I’ll have to leave the country by tomorrow at the latest.
Which embassy should I choose between Penang and Jakarta?
These would be the best options for me because my country doesn't require a visa for up to 30 days.
65k baht per month question: if my first 12 months extension is in May 2025. And I deposit 65K Baht per month from April 2025 to May 2026, when my next 12 months extension comes around. Do I still need the minimum 400K Baht during the 12 month period?
I'm seeking some guidance regarding the DTV. I'm a New Zealand citizen currently residing in Dubai, where I work for my family’s company as Head of Sales. Most of my work is done remotely.
In terms of documentation, I can provide a signed letter from one of the business partners confirming that my role is remote. Would I also need to submit an employment contract? Is there a minimum salary threshold I should be aware of?
Additionally, the majority of my funds are held in an Australian bank account. Will this be an issue given that my residential address is in Dubai, my passport is from New Zealand, and my funds are in Australia?
Hello, thanks for the invitation. I know that there are many Western people living and working in Thailand who are familiar to Thai laws and regulations and could advise me. I currently live with my Thai wife and daughter in EU. I am planning to move to Thailand, where I would buy or rent a small hotel, resort or farm to have some regular income. I am wondering if anyone here has experience with this, and if they have any advice regarding this. I would be happy with any advice. Tnx
