Approved in Saigon / Thanh Pho Ho Chi Minh.

I did not season the account. I transferred the money ~3 days before applying.

I did not use an agency.

I am not a freelancer: I am full time employed for over 2 years at the same job.

I submitted W2 statements, not my full prior 2 years taxes.

I drew a bright red box on the bank statements for my "income" transactions

I submitted my payroll statements for the past 6 months, all 12 of them :(

I work remotely for an international company that operates in Thailand (think Agoda, but not Agoda). There was no concerns from them about me needing to get a Thai work permit instead of DTV.

My employer let me generate a "This kid works remotely for us and earns $XXX/mo"

As an American, any important currency numb ers (like bank account totals or income letters), I converted to Thai Baht, so they would not be confused with SGD / HKD / etc which uses the same currency symbol, but is lower value (which could put you at risk for being below limits if misunderstood).

I started the process on Thursday, and my visa was approved in Hanoi today.

I did use an agent who did all the paperwork for me,

I had 1,5 year a tourist visum and in the 1,5 year 6 days overstaying

but thanks to all the information I've read and seen here, I understand the process better. I want to thank everyone.

Visa approved for my wife and I (she’s a dependent).

I own my own businesses but found that the paperwork to apply as an employee was way easier and less hassle.

Would highly recommend for any business owners to apply as an employee of your own company.

I applied from the London embassy. I’m a U.K. passport holder and I have a company in the UAE. Overall the process took around 4 weeks for my wife and I combined.

Any questions drop them below happy to answer.

Hi people! First off Merry Christmas!🎄

I have a few questions.

Im a Swedish citizen who just left Thailand and currently in Da Nang to apply for my DTV.

Question one :

My passport states 4 names as my Given Names/Förnamn. (Example : Jon I Lars Fred Larsson)

But in Sweden I only go by one of them Lars, so technically the others are my “middle names”. But the name I go by is not the first one of the 4 names, it’s the 3rd. That’s where it gets tricky. But all my bank cards, credit cards and when I log on to my net bank state (example : Lars Larsson). How do I go about this? Should I separate it into first and middle names? Or maybe explain this in a separate letter?

Question two :

I could only choose to apply via the Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh embassy. But since it’s all digital do I need to be in any of these two city’s or am I good on Da Nang?

Many Thanks 🙏

Good evening everyone,

I see loads of posts saying I applied via X embassy.

Some quick questions:

1. London embassy is directing me to the thaievisa.go.th to apply and say they are no longer accepting hard applications. Has the process changed?

2. I assume that if I apply online it will be emailed to me? I don't need to visit the actual embassy unless they require a further interview?

3. I'm hoping to apply in January. However, I will only just reach the 500k. There is no mention of it being seasoned. However, I do see people saying there has been rejected if not there for 3 months. Is it still the case it needs to be seasoned?

Thank you in advance

Hi, everyone.

I just started my DTV application and was obtaining the various documents I'll need. I was thinking that my Trading 212 Cash ISA would be fine as evidence for the at least 500,000 THB for at least the past 3 months. But I'm seeing conflicting information on this and now I'm unsure. Among other savings accounts and current account, I definitely have more than the 500,000 THB, but I'm also unsure if they will accept it being spread around like this (although I don't see why not to be honest).

So two questions: 1. Is the Trading 212 Cash ISA acceptable, and 2. Is it acceptable to have several accounts as evidence all of which sum to more than the 500,000 THB (for the required minimum of 3 months)?

Hello

I am in Cape Verde. The nearest embassy is in Senegal. The website automatically selects Dakar for application submission.

My question is whether I can apply from Cape Verde under these conditions or if I have to travel to Senegal. Thank you for your insights.
