Hello everyone, I would like to ask for an advice. I'm from Philippines and I'm planning to travel on June to Uttradit, Thailand. My purpose is to take the TEFL 4-weeks course on site. Can you get an ED visa if you're going to Thailand to earn your TEFL?

Hi guys, I’ve been here since the end of October with 3 visa exemptions (with extensions) and I’ve left the country twice for a new stamp. I’m currently good till April 25th but I’m a little concerned because my condo contract ends on May 1st and I was planning on taking a TEFL course here that ends on May 5th. I’d like to do a border bounce by land one last time (only done 1 by land so far) and then leave Thailand for good after the TEFL course but I’m worried that I might not be able to get back into the country if I try another border bounce. Obviously that would be terrible because I wouldn’t be able to finish the TEFL course (wasting $1500), my belongings would be stuck in my condo, and I wouldn’t be able to get my security deposit back. I feel like I’m right at the point where I could be denied entry but I really have no idea what the chances of that are. Am I worrying too much or is this something to legitimately be concerned about? Any insight or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Hi ladies and gents, it will be my first visit to Thailand and wanted to know a few things regarding Visas. I'm coming from South Africa so do not need a Visa to come through to Thailand however I am wanting to teach there(finishing up my TEFL course at the moment.) So my question is, which visa should I apply for when I land, keeping in mind that I am looking at having an extended stay once I'm there. Any advice or information will be appreciated, I have looked online but there is a lot of confusing information and just want some first hand advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi all. I am US citizen and I am taking a month long tefl course in Thailand and then hoping to find a teaching job after that. So, I am wanting to start with getting a 60-day single entry tourist visa. However, I have no evidence of a return flight. The Thai Consulate General in Portland, Oregon appears to not require evidence of a return flight, but they do ask on the visa application for a departure date and length of stay. Does anyone know if I can get a tourist visa there with just putting in a random return date without any return flight evidence? Or please give me any other better suggestions?

I will be grateful if I can get info on what kind of visa to apply for in Thailand , as a Nigerian.I want to register for the the TEFL course in October .

Hi, thinking of taking a TEFL course here in Thailand. I’ve heard that you need to get a tourist visa and if you are offered a job during the 3 months tourist visa then this can be changed to a non immigrant B visa? Is this correct/ does anyone have any more information please?
