Just wanted to give an update on my experience today. Arrived Jan 12th from the US visa exempt 30 days. Extended it another 30 days. And today received 60 day covid extention. Thai Immigration Bureau Muangthong Thani. Very busy and very chaotic. All I can say is make sure you double check everything you need. Good luck everyone.

Went to the website to start the Thai Pass process and got this as a popup.

tp.consular.go.th - this is the correct site isn't it?? I got there from a link on the Thai embassy site.

If that's how secure the site is, what am I letting myself in for by putting all my details in there?

Wish we could go back to the good old days of filling a form in 20 minutes before landing :)

Ok... Went to Chaing Whattina Immigration today to extend my stay on a Non-Im O ... after fixing problems that followed me from using an agency... although, time consuming, I successfully extended my stay in Thailand for another year.

It really was easy after cleaning up the mess left from using an agency.

That aside, I want to thank Tod and everyone here for their input and experience as it raised my knowledge and confidence to walk through the process.

I found the people that I encountered extending my Non-Im O retirement most helpful and they, truly, did very much to help me through the whole process...

Remember, this was day one for all the new requirements... meeting those and being friendly manifested in a great experience. I was so nervous on what to expect.

Todayโ€™s experience is rated A+...

Hey all,

I have just completed my 90 day report at the new Nonthaburi Immigration office and thought I'd give an update. First off, getting there... It's a better location but Google Maps will bring you to the wrong location. It will advise you to turn left about half KM down the road from the actual turn. This will bring you to a housing estate entrance with security which Google has a blue line going through to your destination. Even when I arrived at the actual Immigration office Google was telling me to make a U-Turn and go back. To avoid this just continue slowly along the main road until you see the sign for Nonthaburi Immigration. The road to the Immigration office is only wide enough for one car so proceed with caution, I met other vehicles.

Arriving at the Immigration office, you now have to pay เธฟ20 to park. I guess you could park free in the grounds of the building but that was full when I arrived. Entering the office at the ground floor takes you right into the middle of the Laos/Myanmar/Cambodia section. You have to go through more doors and upstairs to the second floor to room 203 for visa extensions and 90 day reports. I got my ticket and my number was called straight away. I was in and out within 5 minutes.

The building itself is much more spacious, cleaner and air-conditioned throughout. The toilets are inside now as well, right beside 203.

Overall, a massive improvement on the previous Immigration office.
