I am currently seeking work in a school teaching english in Thailand (fully qualified) and therefore, assume I will be applying for a Non-immigrant visa “B” once (if) I get a job offer.
I have my own small graphic design business, currently registered in Ireland. if I would like to carry out work while living in Thailand on this visa, while still working at a school, will I also need to apply for a DTV visa? Should I transfer my business to Thailand instead? I understand that if I will be living here more than 183 days a year, that I will need to pay taxes in Thailand.
tl;dr Can I work on my small business while on a Visa B and teaching in a school?
I am a British National applying in the UK for work vacation.
However the 500,000thb is in a locked away in my ISA, so I am going to go down the sponsorship method. My boyfriend also works in Thailand as a teacher.
I am confident in my portfolio and will still show my ISA statements for supporting evidence.
I am applying for a non-immigrant visa so I can work in Thailand. The last requirement is asking for a WP32. How do I go about obtaining this?
5 . WP32 (An approval letter from the Ministry of Labour) or work permit in case of Non-Immigrant B renewal (Japanese is waived from the requirement to submit WP32)
For example if I get sponsored by company A, and then after a year apply for company B, will B have a hard time getting the work visa transferred?
I ask because so many companies ask if I am authorized to work in Thailand and if I need visa sponsorship, but only one company (I dont want to work long term in this one) is willing
Can one arrive on an APEC Travel Card and apply for work visa in Thailand or I have to apply for a work visa from Australia / or visitor visa, use that to enter Thailand and then apply for the extension for a work visa once I secure the work permit in Thailand? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I currently live in Hong Kong, but am in the process of applying for a work visa for a job in Chiang Mai. I've been told I need a police clearance certificate from HK for my visa application.
The HK police require a letter from Thailand requesting the police clearance, as well as a postal address to send it. Any ideas how I can get this or an address to have is sent to in Thailand?
*The ORIGINAL and a PHOTOCOPY (for each applicant) of a request letter from the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority, which contains the applicant’s name and clearly indicates that the production of the Certificate is required.*
*There should also be a POSTAL ADDRESS of the relevant Consulate / Immigration Authority / Government Authority since the application result will be directly sent to them by registered mail. *
*If only the electronic copy of the request letter is available, please print it out for submission.*

I am thinking of just going to the Embassy and starting a conversation to ask these questions but start here to get more ideas and information.
My specialty is ecological agriculture science, industrial hemp agronomy, and all things related to the cannabis market.
An international team just got a grant from the Thailand Government to grow Industrial Hemp for Biofuels and they want me a part of it but i want to get a visa out of the deal but that will be all on me to make happen, if at all possible.
Considering that Cannabis Farms and dispensaries are a serious market now, wonder if I could start a consulting business and have a business visa by working for myself, is it that easy?
Not sure how to promote ecological agriculture and regenerative farming here in Thailand but it seems to me they would want my help here.
