TLDR : Answer Summary
To work in Thailand, you need to follow several steps: 1) Find a job with a Thai employer who is willing to hire you. 2) The employer will provide you with the necessary paperwork to apply for a Non-B visa. 3) The employer will also apply for a work permit on your behalf. 4) Once you receive your Non-B visa, you must wait for your work permit to be issued before you can start working. Additionally, be aware that many jobs may be restricted to Thai nationals only, so it's important to know which positions are open to foreigners.

Why would you want to, terrible salaries and poor employment contracts.
you need a TEFL or a degree, and be a native English speaker, to teach English in Thailand. The salaries however are not very great . . a good school will pay you around 55.000 THB per month and will help you with the work permit. Social Security and taxes will be deducted from this salary

1) find a job in Thailand
2) your employer gives you paperwork to apply for non-B work visa
3) your employer applies for your work permit
4) you get your non-B visa and wait for the work permit to be issued
dont u get work permit first then that allows for visa? That was how mine worked unless its changed. U get invited to work for company which grants u WP and then u apply for Non B based on work. Similar to when cancelling, u cancel WP first and then are given letter from Labour Dept to take to immigration to cancel visa and get 7 day extension to leave stamp
apply first for WP3 pre approval letter, then apply for non-b with the pre-approval letter. Once in Thailand apply for work permit within 3 weeks of working.
